I will do it tomorrow…

Today and Tomorrow

Such an easy statement to make, especially in small business. Does it really get done tomorrow or is it just pushed onto the next day/week list? Let’s be honest, it never really (all) gets done. The list of things that you need to do eventually just grows.

Imagine if you were able to check those things off your list one (or all) at at time. All it takes is reaching out. Just think: completing your list could only cost you $30, say what?! Having a clean slate is more than refreshing, it’s motivating.

When you hire a virtual assistant, you are hiring minute tracking work that provides you with 100% productivity.  Again and again we hear: ‘You get what you pay for.” Yep, by the minute in this case! I have no minimums, no task is too small. I crave efficiency. How can I help your small business grow?

Spring is (almost) in the air!

Spring-Flowers

SPRING

It’s hard to believe that in just a couple short months, this is what everything will look like! A good time of the year, better than New Year’s if you ask me, is Spring! New growth in everything around us. This is also a great time to renew and grow your small business. People are getting outside, feeling refreshed and less out of the dol drums like winter had in store.

The time is NOW! What small things could I take off of your hands? Emails that need tending to? What about new customer responses? The best thing about email is inbox ZERO, have you ever had it? Does everything have a place (folder) in your email with rules that make it go there until you’re ready? It’s a wonderful thing and definitely a motivator for other areas of your business!

Use this Spring season (pre-Spring for now) to reach out and delegate some aspects of your small business!  When that load is lighter, you will wonder what else you can delegate!

Resolutions or Goals?

It’s that dreaded question….what are your new year resolutions?!

A friend once told me that she doesn’t make resolutions, just goals. Wow! It seems like there is something about the sound of the word resolution that is meant to be broken! A great, and refreshing thought is that when you make goals, you can work toward them and eventually attain them! It’s more of a plan rather than a specific “resolution.” <– think make it or break it!

What are your small business goals this year? Is growth one? What about customer/client engagement?  Building your website to look better or be mobile friendly?  The list goes on and on! That’s where I come in to help, all those things you are going to get to when you have the time (but never do!) What about outside of your business? Think more personal assistant side. Are there things you just don’t want to mess with after your work day? Reach out today so we can talk about making 2019 your best year yet!

How much does a VA cost?

Let’s start with the definition of cost: The amount or equivalent paid or charged for something. (Merriam-Webster Dictionary; 2018; https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/cost)

When a small business owner thinks of hiring outside help, they think more $$$ and less profit. The reality (and bonus) of it, is that hiring a virtual assistant (VA) actually provides lower overhead and adds value to your business. Imagine that you have a client who has an inquiry. Instead of stopping your productivity or free time, you delegate this out to your VA with the click of a keyboard! How much did that cost you? Maybe ~$5 dollars depending on the scope.

Cost is a sensitive word for a small business. When you are in business for yourself, every dollar counts! Maximizing profit is key…..but there is also self-care, burnout and too much to do with too little time. Not to mention: Life! Hiring a VA doesn’t have to cost you hundreds of dollars a month. It could cost you less than $100 per month. Let that sink in for a minute, more work—>little cost–>more time–>higher efficiency.

So why is it so hard to reach out you say? Just like anything else, change begins at the end of your comfort zone. By hiring a VA, your productivity and efficiency will both increase! Wow, talk about immediate results!! Once you have a VA on board, it will be so much easier to delegate out tasks that pop up weekly, monthly, annually, randomly, etc.

Let’s face it, you’ve always wanted to do it all, but sometimes the best bet is to focus on your strengths and delegate the rest! Less desirable parts? Check! Loose ends? No problem! I specialize in the details, reach out today for a consult or if you want to try my service!
